Never saw this review before. Lou Rawls and Kool and the Gang,YES!!

  2. Zarus Tyran says:

I said it the first time and I’ll say it again here: While I agree Uncle Ruckus is VERY offensive, his comments about Colby is no different then a white guy saying someone got “Jungle Fever”. There are other clips that show why Ruckus is unlikeable better.

  3. Rowdy, there’s an ad airing on Blip that mentions a new show created by the creator of Boondocks. Just for fun, here’s a link to the Wikipedia page. Have an excellent day! I am sorry if I sound rude or annoying.

    • rowdycmoore says:

Yeah, I’ve seen the ads. My head still hurts from the wall-banging.

      • Do you think it’s worth reviewing?

        • rowdycmoore says:

If it’s just debuting, I’d likely have to give it at least a year or more. But that looks like it might be bad enough.

          • It seems like a possibly interesting concept, but I don’t want to watch it. I don’t usually watch Adult Swim’s shows due to the content. It’s not my kind of humor. I prefer classic comedies and some cartoons. I have a list of items to catch up on. It will probably happen in twenty years…bad joke.

It’s actually a really clever show, but I can see why white people(which I am for the record) would find it off-putting.

I think you’re wrong about this show, to me it’s one of the funniest animated shows i’ve ever seen and I think it’s messages were really solid(particular the Itis episodes and the ones attacking BET).

Yes it was heavy-handed, but frankly I think it needed to be.

      • Okay Black jesus is really not bad like at all it’s actually written well and the main character is how you’d imagine jesus so please don’t bang your head.

  4. I love this show, it’s a gulity pleasure.

    6:45 Actually it’s a shotgun, a spas-12 to be specific.

    ͡• ͜ʖ ͡•

  6. darkrage6 says:

I think you misunderstood the MLK episode, Al Sharpton overreacted(as he has a tendency to do sometimes), the message was that black people should let themselves become the negative stereotypes that they are portrayed as(Which was happening in the episode).

    I heard Season 4 sucked.

  8. Rachel j says:

I really hate his review. I actually really like the show even for the weak season four and I just think you were way too mean spirited. I’m glad you complimented the animation but you missed the humor and storylines. I’m kind of disappointed. It is funny. Sorry.

    • rowdycmoore says:

I can understand. While this is still not one of my favorite shows, I will admit that I may have been playing up the negativity and attitude more because of what was going on in-story at the time this video was made.

It’s surprising Louis Farrakhan didn’t see using the “N” word in every episode as a problem let alone being made fun of.
