Kids, this is the story of how the best sitcom in recent years ended…
next week Alf quantum leap even though u already mentioned them in worst series finales lsit
You can’t spend an entire season on a wedding just to have it fail ten minutes in. Also it was a clear that the showrunners wanted to use their ending because they kept the same scene that they filmed in Season 1 despite everything that had changed since then. To me, the ending doesn’t work.
In contrast, you can compared to the movie Definitely Maybe, which had basically the exact same ending but only last 90 minutes, so you don’t lose eight years of character development with it.
Honestly while I’m not anywhere near as burned out on negative reviews as some internet viewers, I honestly think the key to making an entertaining review aside from the material is something that has personal meaning to you. Thus episodes like this can still make for good watching.
All these years, and it didn’t end with a falling piano gag!
