Actually, Buffy did have an episode where they had a character be shilled relentlessly and show up everyone. The thing is, the season 4 episode “Superstar” was a lampoon of the concept.

Though the episode where Riley’s wife showed up came close to playing it straight.

Are you going to review the first season of Nick’s TMNT show?

    • rowdycmoore says:

      Should get to that eventually.

      • Zarus Tyran says:

The second season finale and the third season have been great. The show’s a perfect fusion of the Fred/Wolf Series with the 4kids Series, but still with enough new elements to make it it’s own show.

      • Robbie Walker here, Viacom’s TMNT Tax Scheme has done it again! Trans-Dimensional Turtles made Turtles Forever look like the better story and Phelous into a bigoted idiot! You, me and Alex have to do a crossover sometime to take down Viacom’s evil scheme of brainwashing people from realizing the truth that without the Fred Wolf Series, TMNT would not exist, just like the Adam West Batman show!
        Robbie Out!

Excuse me? The Batman franchise continued to exist before the 1966 TV show, and it will continue to exist after it. In fact, the character was never better than when there were shows/movies in the 1990’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s.

Hey, Loonatics Unleashed was a great show.

  4. Skybyte says:

The 2012 series is pretty bad with character development and they are too busy rehashing the 1987 series and try to make it hardcore. It’s like those member berries from South Park.
